#11 AWARD-WINNING PROJECTS

Chapter 5

Innovative products and services

At the forefront of innovation

For the 2nd year in a row, LACROIX has been named “Spearhead of Innovation” by the Choiseul Institute. We are one of the companies rewarded by Agnès Pannier-Runacher, the Minister Delegate for Industry, for our Added Value and our Investment in Technology.

Innovation prize for SOFREL NEO

LACROIX was awarded the Innovation Prize at the H2O 2021 trade show in Bologna, Italy, in the instrumentation category for our SOFREL NEO product, from the Environment Activity.

Through a remote control and monitoring of distributed drinking water flows, SOFREL NEO  detects leaks and measure the volumes of waste water discharged into the environment, so as to ensure the protection of natural environment.

IoT Award 2021 in the High-Tech category

Thanks to the Smart Pole product, we were awarded the “High-Tech” prize at the IoT Awards 2021.

This solution makes it possible to reduce the physical risks from falling poles through an infrastructure monitoring system and sensors monitored remotely in real time. This is an excellent example of our production capability from design to manufacturing in industrial IoT, connectivity and security matters thanks to the Impulse product offering.

Made in France

Don’t underestimate Alumix, the traffic light! The sophisticated technological skills of Artificial Intelligence, Edge computing, optics and acoustics are all harnessed to make this everyday device much more than just a simple light point.

Alumix caters for the latest innovations of Smart Mobility, especially to meet the challenges of new traffic regulation strategies, new forms of mobility and increasingly connected vehicles (V2X). And for it all, Alumix was awarded at the Elysée Palace during the major Made in France exhibition in July 2021.

A Made in France product with an eco-design process on top of that (85% recyclable)… definitely worth a quick photo with our president!

In February, Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy, Finance and the Recovery, visited our factory at Saint-Pierre-Montlimart and met our local teams. His visit focused on the relocation of French industry, jobs in the electronics sector and the multiple challenges of the factory of the future. He then went to Beaupréau to lay the first stone of SYMBIOSE, symbolically represented by the first oak tree in the factory’s grounds.
